It's a 24-port switch with stackable capacity, for up to eight units for 480 Gbps of bandwidth. Employees can use it for more than 200 access points. It supports the IEEE 802 family of wireless protocols. It's rack-mountable to save on storage space. Software-defined access enables segmenting user, application and device traffic to improve security via segmentation and performance. The Cisco Catalyst 9300 network essentials device is a managed switch, meaning individuals can configure the security settings with granular precision.
This switch touts support for IPv4 and IPv6 protocols, with the ability to store 32,000 IPv4 routing table entries and 16,000 IPv6 entries. It can store 32,000 MAC addresses. The Cisco Catalyst 9300 24-port switch requires 560 W of power to function. An optional redundant power supply (available separately) can reduce downtime. It comes with a Cisco limited lifetime warranty, which includes 90 days of technical help within business hours. Hardware replacement is possible the next business day if the fault is found within 90 days after purchase.
