The 48-port Cisco® switch has virtual port channels (VPC) that minimize downtime via the provision of fast convergence upon device or link failure. With an Ethernet virtual private network (EVPN), it supports active flow based on load-balancing. This helps fast convergence in case of PE link, customer link or node failure scenarios. Its source-specific multicast (SSM) backs audio and video broadcast applications. The switch has a flexible access control list (ACL) that assigns users different access rights to files and contents within a network.
