It works with Nexus 9500 Series four-slot and eight-slot modular switches (available separately) to increase the bandwidth. This Cisco expansion module is hot-swappable to prevent downtime during installation or removal. The 100GE module features 36 ports to cater to large networks in IT environments. It offers 100-gigabit Ethernet speeds for fast data transfer. With a switching capacity of 3.6 Tbps, this Cisco Nexus module provides fast and reliable performance. It enables expanding the bandwidth across all modules in case more than one expansion module is connected to the switch.
This Nexus X9736C-FC device supports Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking for wide-ranging use. Compatibility with advanced, policy-based, fabric architecture such as application-centric infrastructure (ACI) and VXLAN enables dynamic allocation of resources in the data center. This small form-factor pluggable (SFP) module supports real-time streaming telemetry to provide an edge in applications that require fast access to network analytics data.
